Explore the unique leadership styles and qualities that led Walt Disney to make his dream of Disneyland® Park come true.

Overview

In this live, interactive Leadership Assembly, led by an experienced pair of energetic and entertaining Disney Facilitators, participants explore styles and qualities of leadership. Through a series of interactive activities and exercises, participants will discover their own unique leadership qualities, and work to employ such practices as effective communication, listening skills, problem-solving, and the value of reaching consensus.

Key Learning Objectives

After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand some of the qualities that made Walt Disney a great leader
• Appreciate the scope of Walt’s accomplishments and his ability to make a very big dream come true
• Explore what it means to work together as a team – both large and small
• Discover the importance of positive communication and effective listening in a team environment
• Embrace problem-solving skills needed to create solutions within The Walt Disney Company
• Apply Disney leadership principles into their own lives

• Recommended for Middle School and High School Students
• Content can be adapted for College Students
• Minimum of 100 students required per organized group to participate in this experience
