Disney Imagination Campus Honors Educators from Across the Country at Walt Disney World Resort

This week, as part of National Teacher Appreciation Week, educators from across the country are being recognized for their dedication to inspiring students every day. Twelve lucky teachers had the amazing opportunity to celebrate at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, as part of the Disney Imagination Campus 2024 Teachers Celebration.

Out of thousands of entries, these 12 teachers were chosen to enjoy a 4-day, 3-night stay at the resort. Their experience created magical memories that the elementary, middle and high school teachers will remember for a lifetime.

Their visit was filled with unforgettable experiences, starting with a breakfast at Magic Kingdom park, followed by a chance to experience Disney Imagination Campus Workshops. Walt Disney World Resort became their classroom, offering these teachers a unique peek behind the scenes of our theme parks.

From exploring how Disney Imagineers marry imaginative design, storytelling and practical considerations in Theme Park Design to practicing proper breath control, diction and character development in musical theater – the teachers were challenged to use problem solving and collaboration in a variety of educational settings.

One highlight of their trip was getting a special view of the Festival of Fantasy parade in Magic Kingdom park. Later, teachers enjoyed a private dinner and dessert party with their families, and capped the day off with fireworks viewing of Luminous the Symphony of Us at Epcot. A few special pals even stopped by to join in the festivities.

We're thrilled to celebrate these teachers and hope that their time at Walt Disney World Resort will inspire them to bring back fresh ideas and tools to enhance their classrooms.
