Disney Leadership Assembly
Students learn effective leadership strategies and how to create a collaborative and inclusive environment at this unique leadership seminar, led by Disney facilitators.
Overview
In this live, interactive leadership training program, students explore leadership styles. Through a series of interactive, student development experiences, future leaders will discover their own potential and learn leadership skills —including effective communication, proactive listening, problem solving and consensus building.
Learning Objectives
After completing the Disney Leadership Assembly, students will be able to:
- Assume the role of a leader within a team
- Identify strategies of successful leaders
- Understand how to develop their leadership skills
- Identify and polish their leadership style
- Discover the importance of positive communication and effective listening
- Embrace the problem-solving skills that were used to create solutions for The Walt Disney Company
- Apply Disney leadership principles to daily life in order to enhance their leadership development as well as to improve the quality of their lives
- Explore the critical thinking skills that are necessary when leading a team
Educational Standards: Our Academic Workshops meet many National Common Core and California State Standards and will assist teachers in reinforcing classroom learning to help prepare students for college and careers, through real-world experiences. Additional Information
- Disney Leadership Assembly is available for middle school, high school and college students at both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.
- At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, a minimum of 65 students is required per organized group to participate in this leadership development experience.
- At the Disneyland Resort in California, a minimum of 100 students is required per organized group to participate in this leadership development experience.
