View our Sessions:
Session 1: AI for Educators, presented by the University of Florida
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already shaping how students learn and how teachers plan and engage in the classroom. In this foundational session, Dr. Nancy Ruzycki from the University of Florida breaks down the basics of AI and what it means for educators today. Teachers will gain a clear understanding of key concepts and practical insights to make informed and intentional decisions as AI continues to evolve in education.
Session 2: Creativity in the Classroom – Mindset
Explore creativity with Disney Institute as a mindset and uncover how it can be intentionally developed, rather than left to moments of inspiration. Through guided discussion, storytelling, and interactive experiences, educators will begin to examine how curiosity, collaboration, and new ways of thinking can transform learning environments and better support the diverse needs of their peers and students.
Session 3: Building Character with Susan Egan
The performing arts have the power to do more than entertain—they shape character, build empathy, and inspire imagination. In this session, actress, storyteller, and Disney legend, Susan Egan, shares how performance and storytelling can influence the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Through personal experiences and thoughtful conversation, participants will explore how the arts foster confidence, creativity, and connection, helping students discover their voice and develop a deeper sense of purpose.
Session 4: Creativity in the Classroom – Application
Building on the foundational ideas introduced earlier in the day with Disney Institute, this session shifts from mindset to application—bringing creativity to life in real classroom and team environments. Participants will explore practical tools, strategies, and examples that can be immediately applied to lesson design, instructional approaches, and collaboration with peers.
Session 5: Driven by Imagination, presented by General Motors
Join General Motors Director of Virtual Integration Engineering, Rene Strauss, and Vice President of EPCOT, Matt Simon, to explore how Test Track presented by GM comes to life as a “living classroom.” By discussing real-world STEAM concepts, educators will gain insight into how immersive environments can spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of leaders, problem-solvers, and innovators.
Meet our Speakers:
- Susan Egan, Accomplished actress most notably known for voicing Megara from Disney’s Hercules, renowned Broadway star leading the original Belle in the Broadway adaptation of Beauty and The Beast, and recently awarded Disney Legend
