Program Overview

Coming in early 2019, learn about the Disney philosophy and management processes used by our lines of businesses. Influenced by Walt Disney's approach to hospitality, you'll see how effective training and a shared understanding of common goals help Cast Members meet and exceed Guests' expectations. Participants will visit multiple areas of Walt Disney World® Resort to see how each area is connected to the overall business.

Key Learning Points

After completing Hospitality – Disney Style, participants will:

  • Be able to share an all-encompassing definition of hospitality
  • Understand the need for comprehensive training to support the goal of providing excellent Guest service
  • Learn how Cast Members utilize a combination of skills to create memorable Guest experiences that encourage return visits
  • Explore how theming combined with top-notch amenities create a setting for delivering on expectations
  • Recognize how a supportive work culture encourages Cast Members to be creative, focused and committed
  • Understand how Cast Members from multiple departments work together to deliver on expectations, providing an outstanding Guest experience

Program participants are required to present a government-issued ID on the day of the learning experience.

Eligible Participants: Ages 18 and up, enrolled college undergraduate or in graduate school

Follow this process for arranging your Disney Education Programs – College Edition visit:

  1. Select the program(s) that best suits your group.
  2. Choose the dates you intend to visit. Please identify an alternate program date in case programming is not available on your preferred date.
  3. Submit a Program Request Form. Programs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is encouraged.
  4. Upon receipt of confirmation from the Disney Youth Programs team, purchase your value-priced theme park Ticket Packages, which include your first program. Ask your Disney Youth Representative about adding other programs during your visit to maximize your experience.
  5. Purchase tickets for other Disney parks or events, including Disney Water Parks, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course, Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
  6. Request information on food and beverage options as well as Disney on-site group hotel accommodations.

Additional Guests

Share the wonder and magic of your Walt Disney World® Resort visit by bringing your friends and family! Everyone can enjoy some Disney fun with the same great ticket packages. Please note: Additional Guest tickets do not include participation in the Disney Education Programs – College Edition program.

Disney Youth Representatives can guide you in choosing the programs that best suit your group, plan your food and beverage options and even help you book your Disney Resort accommodations at special group rates.

Minimum of 1 adult per 10 students must attend the program. The number of group leaders and additional Guests (i.e., chaperones, siblings, etc.) may not exceed the number of students.

Theme-park admission is required and all participants must purchase a Disney Education Programs – College Edition Ticket Package to attend any Disney Education Programs – College Edition program. Use of an admission is required for entrance into the park on the date of your program. Tickets are valid for 7 days prior to your arrival date and after departure date. Tickets are only available to residents of the Domestic U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Annual passes, complimentary admission and regular front‐gate admission cannot be applied to the cost of a program.
