Can’t get enough holiday magic? Celebrate the Spirit of the Season as Walt Disney World is transformed into a whimsical wonderland – Now through December 31, 2022. Prepare to be enchanted during the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort with many holiday-themed experiences for your students to unwrap.

Read on for all the magical details of just some of what your students can expect when visiting Walt Disney World Resort this upcoming holiday season!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

In Magic Kingdom Park, get ready for a magical holiday gathering with your students––and some familiar Disney Characters. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – A beloved holiday event is returning this holiday season! Join Mickey for a festive celebration with Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and more on select nights. *Separate admission is required for this special event.

Getting into the spirit of things, Magic Kingdom Park will be adorned with festive seasonal holiday décor! Take your students on a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A, as they take in the holly, jolly trimmings and theming throughout the park. But make sure your group takes a break to indulge in limited-time holiday-inspired food and beverage items available for purchase at select locations.

There’s no better way to end your night than by gathering with your students and joining Mickey and his pals at the Cinderella Castle stage for the ultimate must-watch Christmas extravaganza – “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.” Feel the magic of the holidays come to life during a jubilant stage show that fills the air with nostalgic and modern medleys of holiday music, laughter, shimmering snowflakes––and a whole lot of Disney Characters, too!

Candlelight Processional at Epcot Festival of the Holidays    

Student groups can embrace holiday traditions, décor, and cuisine from around the world when visiting EPCOT this holiday season! Beginning November 25, 2022, the International Festival of the Holidays will immerse students in seasonal sights, sounds, and flavors during a beloved extravaganza boasting themed Holiday Kitchens and a scrumptious Holiday Cookie Stroll.

Settle in to hear the stirring story of Christmas, as your students will cherish the memories created during the Candlelight Processional. On select nights, a celebrity narrator, such as Whoopi Goldberg, Josh Gad, or Neil Patrick Harris, tells the story of Christmas, recounting the biblical tale of a savior born in Bethlehem. Students’ ears will be filled with stirring songs of hope and joy performed by the orchestra and massed choir — nightly from November 25 to December 30, 2022.

The holidays at EPCOT extend beyond the festive décor, entertainment, and sweet treats found all around the park. Walt Disney Imagineers further the immersive storytelling experience, bringing the holidays to life on Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Remix. Students will take off on an intergalactic chase through space accompanied by a mash-up of seasonal jams. Blast off to the tune of an awesome holiday single, bringing joy to Xandar and Terra, too.

Holiday Décor and Offerings at Disney Springs

Before heading to the parks, spare some time to visit Disney Springs and savor the season's comforting flavors while enjoying seasonal entertainment! Meet Santa and enjoy festive holiday tunes with live musical performances and DJs. Plus, encounter Toy Soldier Stilt Walkers and Snowflake Skaters.

Did someone say let it snow? Flurries are in the forecast for Disney Springs. In the evenings, students will delight in a magical snowfall, adding an extra touch of wonder to your group's winter field trip to Walt Disney World. In addition, students will discover Christmas around every corner, with Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll bringing a collection of elaborately decorated Christmas trees to the neighborhoods of Disney Springs.
