Teachers play a crucial role in shaping young minds and inspiring future generations. To celebrate their dedication and commitment, Science is Cool will host Science is Cool 14, Imagination Day featuring Disney Imagination Campus, live from Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort. This is a day of professional development designed to ignite creativity and innovation in the classroom for K-12 teachers.

This complimentary event, coming July 23, 2024, offers K-12 educators a unique opportunity to learn from subject matter experts combining both science and art to inspire novel teaching approaches. Held online, teachers can attend this fun and engaging “unconference” virtually and will earn a professional development certificate for participation.

Imagination Day celebrates what we call "Imagination-Powered Learning," advocating for real-world experiences to drive creativity and critical thinking in students. By infusing hands-on learning into their teaching practices, educators can inspire students to explore, experiment and dream big.

As education continues to evolve, it's imperative for teachers to stay ahead of the curve. Imagination Day serves as a platform for educators to not only learn from Disney professionals but also from leaders in various fields who are driving the future of education. By equipping teachers with tools and strategies rooted in storytelling, creativity, and innovation, Imagination Day will empower educators to adapt to the changing needs of students.

We invite teachers from across the country to join us virtually on July 23, 2024, for Science is Cool 14 to gain fresh ideas and resources, all from the comfort of their chosen location, ready to transform their classrooms with newfound knowledge, enthusiasm and magic.
